Ten Bucks Dick Button uses the word chutzpah in his analysis

Like the rest of the world, I'm all-consumed with the Olympics right now. With the U.S. women likely out of medal contention in the 2010 games, I latched onto the men's team (with a little help from The Fug Girls' costume primer) to feel the USA pride.

There was no shortage of things to love about the competition that concluded last night.

There was an inappropriate attraction to 19-year-old Canadian Patrick Chan:

Johnny Weir's tassel:

and corset-esque costume backing:

A Swiss Eric-Bana wanna-be with a Robin Hood obsession:

Jeremy Abbott who proved that an all-purple outfit might lead to a disastrous short program and then, this face:

A plucky Czech man after my nautical-loving heart:

Lysacek's Oompa-Loompa skin tone, which could only have been achieved through a twice-daily regimen of spray tanning combined with MAC's "Tangerine-Day-Glo" blush:

Best of all, Evgeni Plushenko, the long-feared Russian master of the ice. As J so astutely pointed out during the short program, he has quite the impressive doppleganger:

I just know that the women's competition is going to be a let-down after these crazy kids. Thank God for ice dancing tonight.
