Modern Love

I have a few weekend rituals. Most of them involve coffee, and catching up on my stories on Hulu. However, being an internet junkie, my Saturday usually starts out with my favorite NYT column, Modern Love.

Each week, a different writer chronicles an issue that has emerged in one of their relationships. My favorite stories are the honest accounts of something that could only emerge in this time, where technology is changing at such a speeding rate that the standards we have for our romantic relationships seem almost archaic in comparison.

As I'm attempting to blog via phone, excuse my lack of cool links. Here's the link to the full archives of Modern Love:

And here is the link to the kookiest one I've ever read. It involves a woman going through a breakup who hires a performance artist to remove all evidence of the relationship from her apartment. We've all been there, right?

I just want you to know that you have just ruined any and all illusions of productivity I had at work.

I now want to read every single Modern Love column.
